When you walk with Christ, your life creates a ripple effect, touching the lives of others wherever you go!
Don't be afraid to get out of the boat and jump in the water with both feet, so to speak. Surrender your life to Jesus and just see where He takes you.
It is an adventure to walk with Christ. There are lots of hills and valleys, but the view is breathtaking.
I love this image of a widgeon duck coming in for a landing on the water. As I captured the full range of images, I was so filled with joy just watching this duck commit to its destination and flap its wings in seeming glee in the arrival.
You can how much momentum and force this duck had coming in to the water by looking at the ripples it created.
And so it is with you, dear friend. There is a ripple effect created by your life as you walk with the Lord. Here is what Paul says —
But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
2 Corinthians 2:14-15 NIV
C.T. Studd has said, "Only one life twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last." Again, Paul says, "Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV).
Today, dear friend, I encourage you walk with the Lord and live for Him. Even when times are tough and you are afraid, just keeping following the Lord. Your life is creating a ripple effect and heaven will tell the story of all the Lord has done in and through you. Just keep your eyes fixed on Him and don't be afraid to give yourself fully to the work of the Lord.
God bless you, dear friend, as you continue on in the grand and great adventure of knowing the Lord Jesus.
Dear Lord, thank You for leading us every step of the way and creating a ripple effect with our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.
