And when I answer the call from Jesus, “Follow Me and I will show you how to fish for people” (Matthew 4:19 NLT), I see my life story takes on an eternal perspective with an influence of epic proportions. Now God is telling a story that touches lives in a lost and hurting world. People experience salvation, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life. And while God is telling His story through our lives, we have the opportunity and joy to share His heart. He intends for us to experience firsthand an intimate, ongoing, vibrant relationship with Him. He speaks and we listen. We pour out our hearts to Him and He leans down to hear and respond to every word. …
