Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

What will be the result of truth from God's Word in your life? What you believe determines who you are. Who you are determines how you live. And how you live determines the direction of your life…Your decision to open the Bible every day to look into the mirror and see truth from God makes you a light in a world filled with much darkness. Jesus said, "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16). People who are committed to the truth will impact a culture. They will not just claim a life of love and joy but will be committed to it and carry it out in the place where they live. May you and I impact our culture because we live out the truth that we discover in God's Word.
