O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah.
Psalm 84:8
When the psalmist cries out, "Hear my prayer, O Lord God Almighty," we see the conversation of God's pilgrim. It is a special conversation, for it is a conversation with God, the Creator of the universe. The great privilege granted to all God's pilgrims is prayer. Pouring out one's soul to God is the life breath of the believer. The marvelous truth is that God loves prayer. He loves to hear the cries of His people, and He acts on our behalf when we talk to Him. Will you enter the very throne room of God and kneel at His throne of grace, by faith, that you might "receive mercy and find grace to help [you] in [y]our time of need" (Hebrews 4:16)?
