I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. Oh, the joys of those who trust the LORD.

The defining moment in any person’s life comes when God reaches through the heavens to help in the impossible circumstance. There are those times when nothing can explain the turn of events, the open door of opportunity, or abundant provision from an unseen source…When God hears the cries of His people, remembers His covenant, sees them, and takes notice of them, God makes things happen. When you see the Lord and cry out to Him, He hears and answers…Have you learned the secret of prayer in your most difficult days, and even in your dark night of the soul? Where do you run first when you are in trouble? Allow the tears to fall, dear friend, but then pray. Cry out to your Lord and pour out your heart to Him. Pray big, not small.
