How does God make a man or a woman of prayer? It is through the school of pilgrimage. What is this school? It is the event that etches in the mind and heart of a man or woman the absolute need for God and the fact that he or she is forever God's pilgrim. It may be a time of change, a time of suffering, or simply a one-time event…think through the question "Why pray?" In doing so, you, as God's pilgrim, will learn the necessity of prayer. The necessity of prayer is really the necessity of God in your life.
