We experienced an amazing lunar eclipse a number of years ago, and of course, ever the myPhotoWalk enthusiast, I was outside to capture as much of it as possible with my Sony A6000, Zeiss 16-70mm lens, mirrorless camera. One of the most beautiful sights was watching the moon come back into view as it was setting behind our majestic mountains here in the Coachella Valley of California. So, in essence, I was out there capturing images of the setting moon. It was just breath–taking and awe–inspiring all at once!
Right then and there, I decided to create a Photo Artistry image of this photographic capture because it reminds me so much of the awesome power of God. I chose Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" and titled this image, "God Is Able."
Sometime simple is the best course in photography post–processing, so I processed this particular image using Topaz Impression to add a painterly filter smoothing out the background to give a good foundation for the Helvetica Neue poster–style devotional lettering.
I pray that we will all be reminded of this amazing truth. God is able to handle anything that comes your way so be encouraged dear friend to trust Him in all circumstances.
Lord, thank You for the constant reminder in Your creation that You are able to handle anything that comes our way. In Jesus' name, Amen.
