The Red Sea Place

A Quiet Time Moment

Have you come to the Red Sea place in your life? It's that place where there is no way back, no way out, no other way but through. Annie Johnson Flint, a Christian poet, wrote about this place. And she discovered that God is the one who enables each of us to make it through, and bids our soul to go on with Him.

The challenge at the Red Sea place is trusting God when the water stretches out before us and we have no earthly answer for our dilemma.

Though there may be no earthly answer, we must remember that with God, there is always hope. And with God, there is always an answer. God Himself is the answer. For with God there is power in the impossible, a way through the sea, and life in the most dire straits.

The best thing you can do in the Red Sea place is draw near to God, grab hold of His promises, and fix your eyes on Jesus who is the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

You can also find encouragement from the way that God parted the Red Sea for His people in Exodus. Theirs was an impossible situation.

Here is how God rescued His people at the Red Sea place —

But the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. Thus the LORD saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. When Israel saw the great power which the LORD had used against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD, and they believed in the LORD and in His servant Moses.

Exodus 14:29-31

God will also enable you to walk on dry land through the midst of the sea at your Red Sea place. He will make a way, dear friend. He promises that "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you" (Isaiah 43:2 NLT).

Believe it. Receive it. Live it.

So today, fix your eyes on Jesus, and trust Him for every provision, rescue, and escape at the Red Sea place.

Lord, today I want to thank You that You are with me in deep waters and will enable me to make it through the Red Sea Place. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessings ♡ Grace
