You are in God's hand. Even if you do not know the whys and hows of trauma, tragedy, and suffering, you can find comfort in the mighty hand that is holding you and guiding the course of your life. Knowing you are in His hand takes you beyond the crush of despair to the victory of hope. His hand holds our birth, our death, our life, our length of days, our successes and failures, our relationships (good and bad), our tears and sorrows, our joys and expectations, and yes, even our prayers. Life seems impossible at times, but God's hand lifts you up. In the Lord's hand, your greatest disappointments can become His appointments…God's hand will exalt you at exactly the proper time and will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you (1 Peter 5:6,10). Take comfort in the hand that holds you. It is the large and powerful hand of God.
