I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way, who can’t see where they’re going. I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them—sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.

You, dear friend, as God’s beloved child, are meant for more than all the world can offer—an intimate relationship with the God who has created us, a life of freedom that is secure in Him, the moment by moment experience of His everlasting love, the joy of being His masterpiece living out God’s plan and purpose for our lives, and experiencing the abundant life of blessing and glory He has for us in Christ. This does not mean that God’s people won’t face difficulties in this life. But it does mean that they are enabled to thrive in spite of every adversity because of God’s presence and power in them.
