Courage

myPhotoWalk Artistry

I remember on one of my wildlife adventures being totally enamored with these crane chicks. They were just hilarious and I captured some images with my Nikon D810 and Nikkor 80-400mm lens. This one is a favorite and seems to epitomize the whole need for courage in life.

So, I decided to do a little myPhotoWalk Artistry and make an image to remind us all how important it is to be strong and courageous. I used Nik Software to add contrast and a vignette. Then, I used one of my favorite filters, Topaz Glow Fur and Feathers to add just a bit of detail in the birds. Finally, I added a Topaz Impression painting filter and then masked in the original details of the birds. Finally, I added the word "Courage" and 1 Chronicles 28:20 about being strong and courageous and not being afraid or discouraged.

Honestly, this image just makes me smile and makes me want to be more courageous. So the next time you're tempted to be afraid in anticipation of something you know you need to do, just remember these little birds and the strength of the Lord.

Lord, help us to be strong and courageous today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessings ♡ Grace
