In revival, we need the cleansing work of the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. This cleansing brings about a purity that shines like a brilliant diamond from within. That is why Paul said to the Philippian church, "Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life…" (Phil. 2:14-16)…remember to keep your eyes on Him. Desire holiness much more than happiness. Then shine for Him in the midst of a world that is, more and more, becoming a lover of self and pleasure rather than a lover of God (2 Timothy 2:1-5).
