One of the promises that is yours because the Lord is your Shepherd is that you have everything you need. He is the great I AM, the LORD, whose name means that your God is eternal and beyond the realm of time, has inexhaustible resources, and is all-sufficient. This same God has stooped down to be your Shepherd, always with you twenty four hours a day, to take care of you. That's what a Shepherd does. He cares for you even when no one else does.
