It's no secret that some of my favorite photographic subjects are flowers.
I had a wonderful opportunity to attend a very special garden tour hosted by Sherman Library and Gardens in Newport Beach, California. I saw so many beautiful flowers that I captured at least a thousand different images. I especially loved the fuchsia, both in hanging baskets and along the ground. This image includes many different colors of fuchsia. It was so beautiful, I couldn't help but think of the word bloom.
So in creating this myPhotoWalk Photo Artistry image I decided to focus on that word bloom. My favorite verse in the Bible about blooming as a Christian is 2 Peter 3:18, "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
I processed this image with Alien Skin Exposure X3 Software. Then I added a dark vignette with ON1 Software and a Georgia O'Keefe painterly filter from Topaz Impressions. I like using that painterly filter sometimes to bring out more of an impressionistic look to my artistry image.
So, may we all bloom as the Holy Spirit works in our lives, transforming us into a beautiful masterpiece of beauty as Christ shines in and through us.
Dear Lord, thank You how you work in us to grow us in Your magnificent grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Blessings ♡ Grace
